Fran Wild – Lytham

Born and bred on the Fylde Coast, growing up in Lytham St. Annes, Fran trained as a Youth and Community Worker. She worked in Blackpool and Kirkham, leading youth clubs, Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes, and services for young people until the Conservative government of 2010 wiped out Youth Services nationally.
Fran was elected by her colleagues as the full time Unite rep in Lancashire County Council, for 6 years, until further Conservative cuts made her and hundreds of her colleagues redundant. Fran spent the next 3 years working with homeless young people at local charity, Streetlife.
Fran is a compassionate, hard-working woman, who understands the impact of political decisions on real people, having experienced them herself.
